The Commodore II

The Commodore, a Williamsburg staple, opened a second location in the East Village, this week. Located on 2nd St. and Ave C, right off of E. Houston. The bar is a staple for nachos, fried chicken Sandwiches and frozen drinks.

BonBon

BonBon, the Swedish Candy store, known for it’s iconic millennial pink packaging & assortment of sweet and sour candies, is opening it’s 3rd location, across the river, in Williamsburg. They started in the East Village and have since opened doors in the Lower East Side, Upper East Side, and now Brooklyn.

Lucia Alimentari

Lucia Pizza from Sheepshead Bay recently opened its second location in Soho called Lucia Alimentari. The owner, Salvatorre Carlino grew up in the family pizza business and is now moving onto slices, baked goods, sandwiches, and coffee with a rotating chef concept. Once his liquor license is approved, he aims to transform the space into a wine bar at night.

Sungold at the Arlo Williamsburg

The Arlo hotel recently introduced Sungold, Led by chef Michael King, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers a locally sourced and seasonal menu including fresh salads, wood fired pizzas, sandwiches and pasta paired with a list of experimental cocktails. The cocktails are infused with everything from butterfly pea tea, to green tea, papaya, and hibiscus, and jasmine.
